Egg Donor Program 3

Program 3: Donor/Donor Embryo Program

Atlantic Shared Beginnings' Donor/Donor Embryo Program is designed to allow patients to create an embryo profile that fits their family by selecting both their egg donor and sperm donor. The Donor/Donor Embryo Program focuses on affordability and patient access to donor/donor embryos.

After acceptance into the program, our patients choose an egg donor from our online database. Full donor profiles are available with childhood and current photos. When an egg donor is chosen, patients will then choose a compatible sperm donor based on expanded carrier screening from both donors. Donors can be selected from the comfort of their own home. The donor eggs will be fertilized and when an embryo is available, the patient will begin medications for the embryo transfer.

This program offers a guaranteed pregnancy or three embryo transfers, whichever occurs first. Embryos transferred are good quality blastocysts. If an egg does not fertilize or the embryo does not develop, we will provide more eggs to meet the pregnancy or three-transfer guarantee with no extra cost to the patient. Our guarantee is so strong, if a pregnancy does not occur, qualifying patients may choose to have three more transfers or get their money back minus administration fees.

Egg Donors

At Atlantic Shared Beginnings, we believe recipients should choose their egg donor; not have one chosen for you. Our egg donors are healthy young women who have agreed to donate their eggs to allow another to reach their dreams of pregnancy. Atlantic Shared Beginnings has a very thorough screening process in which our egg donors must pass extensive physical and psychiatric evaluations. Only about 5% of donors who apply to become an Atlantic Shared Beginnings Donor will be accepted into our program. Recipients are given access to all available donors and can select them from the comfort of their own home.

Embryos

Embryos are created with donor eggs and donor sperm chosen by the patient. Selected donor eggs will be fertilized with selected donor sperm, and the embryos will culture in the laboratory for five to six days until they reach the blastocyst stage. The blastocysts will be frozen and stored in the laboratory while the recipient prepares for embryo transfer. Only good-quality blastocysts will be transferred to a recipient.

Guarantee

Atlantic Shared Beginnings is so confident that you will achieve pregnancy, we offer a money-back guarantee to those who qualify. With traditional egg donor programs there is no guarantee the eggs will fertilize or result in viable embryos, and these programs start with a higher cost. Atlantic Shared Beginnings' Donor/Donor Embryo program recipients are guaranteed pregnancy or three embryo transfers, whichever comes first. This guarantee is so strong that our patients can move forward with confidence that they will reach embryo transfer with good-quality blastocysts. Program graduation takes place after pregnancy has been confirmed and the recipient has entered the second trimester of pregnancy under the care of her OB. For those who qualify, if a pregnancy does not occur after the third embryo transfer, the patient may elect to have three more transfers or receive their money back minus administration fees. Allowing patients to select their own donors coupled with our money back guarantee makes Atlantic Shared Beginnings the leader in Donor/Donor Embryo Programs around the world.

Program Fee

The fee to participate in the Atlantic Shared Beginnings Donor/Donor Embryo program is $18,500. An initial non-refundable deposit of $600 will be due after the new patient consultation with a physician. The remainder of the program fee is due when the recipient chooses and secures her egg donor for treatment. Medications and some procedures are not included in the program fee and can be discussed during the initial consult with the program director.
